There is cycling, hiking along the creek, it’s great for fly-fishing, kayaking in the spring, just relaxing by the fire pit with a good book sitting on the banks of the creek. The Quaint two-bedroom cedar siding cabin is only steps away from the creek. Its beautiful landscaping will have you forgetting your troubles and reconnecting with nature and loved ones. Belle Vue Chalet is located approximately Eight miles from Mountain View, Arkansas on Forty-five acres overlooking the White River, mountains and valley below. A maintained gravel road leads from Highway 9 to the semi-secluded Chalet. The area is heavily wooded, with the exception of property adjacent to buildings. There is a Lavender Field across the road from the Chalet and a small orchard to the side. The property is professionally landscaped with local shrubs, flowers, trees and grass.

If you love canoeing, the Southfork and the Spring River with its Class II, Class III rapids, s-curve shoots, and some three foot falls is the place to be. A Canoe trip on the Southfork or on the Spring River itself provides a great escape into nature and an exciting ride. All you anglers, the Spring River is noted for its plenteous rainbow trout! Nothing like fresh fish for supper! You would rather play golf or tennis? Those venues are close by. Are antiques your weakness? Hardy is your bit of heaven as antique stores abound in the Old Hardy Town. And talk about food? Our former Girl Scout camp counselor cabin from the 1930s is nestled away by a private lake, where you will enjoy seclusion among the trees while also being minutes away from beautiful Cherokee Village and its many amenities. You'll have easy access to the two local rivers, perfect for floating and kayaking. The beautiful space is an upgrade from studio living with two private bedrooms, a full bathroom, a sleeper sofa, a kitchenette, a dining space, and a large outdoor deck overlooking Lake Kiwanie / Galilee. Our cabin is a restored piece of Girl Scout history, formerly a counselor cabin for Camp Kiwani. The natural stone construction dates to the 1930s, and the interior has been heavily updated for modern comfort. Lake Galilee/Kiwanie offers a beautiful view from the cabin property. The lake is, however, private property and is strictly not accessible by our cabin guests due to liability limitations. Many other area rivers and lakes are reachable within a short drive. We want your stay to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! In order to serve all guests well with a clean and comfortable cabin, please note that early check-in and late check-out are limited to availability and may require additional fees.

Additionally, down the bluff, via a walking trail (you can also access by car), we own a couple of acres on the waterfront by the falls that are shown in the pictures on VRBO.
